One of these days for your ignorant American readers would you write a bit more about Way the Hell Up North? I don't have a very good idea what it's like there. Is it just that the weather's awful, or something else?

Jennifer -- if you email me, I'll tell you where it actually is. The photo was taken April 4, and snow is a fact of life there that time of year. It's a four hour drive straight north from where I live, which is near to Toronto.
And thanks! I'm Munchkin's stylist, so I take credit for her adorable outfits. While she still lets me (kinda) dress her!
Oh, I love hopping. Those are great boots, too.
ALL OF OUR SNOW IS GONE NOW! Except for some in the very back of the yard which I am politely ignoring.
