Gluttons for night-time winter-driving punishment, we are loading up the Family Truckster for a fun, good ol' fashioned family Reading Week vacation with my parents in Way The Hell Up North.
I was going to entertain you with the packing lists I had prepared for me and for Miss Baby, but even contemplating how much stuff we need to bring for her tires me -- comic genius or not, I can't even start to type it without hyperventilating.
We'll be heading into a winter storm watch sometime after having bundled Miss Baby from her bedtime-boobie into the carseat, in the hopes that she'll sleep through the trip, which is of a good 5 hours duration. In non-snowstorm conditions.
I just can't wait to get on the road again ... anyhow, we'll be back on Monday. Happy blogging!

Oh yikes. Best of luck!
Um, that sounds nerve-wracking. I'd offer you overnight storm shelter, but I'm quite a bit off course. Drive SAFELY!
Drive safely.
Yo! Miss Baby! Can I bend your ear? Here's the thing. You need to just relax and sleep in the car, 'kay? Thanks for listening. As you were.
Hi! I just saw your comment over at Alpha Dogma about going up to the GWN. It was so pretty with all the snow, we were in Corbeil actually....but I have been doing the North Bay thing for 14 years. mr mumma is from Callander and we got married at the Waltonian. (I am sure you know these places).
When I first saw your name of Mimi on the Breach I started singing mimi on the beach in my head. I was working at a resaurant on Yonge street at the time it came out and it all came flooding back. Ahhhh the 80's. And it gets stranger, yesterday at the hair salon, the woman next to me was telling her stylist that Jane Siberry has gotten rid of all her material possessions and has renamed herself (like Prince did...).
gosh. I am unusually wordy tonight. It is just fun weird neat to read someone with some of the same cultual geographical references.
Happy trails and save driving.
Have a great time and a safe trip :)
Too late but I hope you've all arrived safely and Miss Baby slept the whole way.
Hope you got there safely!
I know you're away, but when you come back, I tagged you...
Here's wishing you a safe trip and a sleepy baby!
